Job description:

Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning.
Demand planner needs to take the additional role of Finished Goods Planner, works as a Finished Goods Inventory Planner on problems of moderate scope where the analysis ofplanning data requires a review of a variety of factors using Root Cause Analysis.
Manage the monthly medium/long term planning process and the weekly supply-demand planning process together with stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supplier) in-time for capacity planningand to contribute to smooth procurement of long-lead-time components at supplier level.
Manage the integral inventory levels for the assigned product groups.
Manage phasing in / phasing out of assigned product-types according to the actual PIP Process (Product Introduction Process) in close cooperation with product/marketing management and the industrial project team with the aim to introduce new products in-time and phase-out products without obsolete finished products and components.


Your qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
At least 3 years experience in forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, and supplier collaboration.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to write and communicate in English required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
