Photo Shoot Stylist for Home Decor Products
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Stylist for Photo Shoots with expertise in styling home decor products. As a Stylist, you will play a crucial role in creating visually captivating and aesthetically appealing photographs for our home decor product line. Your exceptional attention to detail, creative vision, and knowledge of current design trends will be instrumental in achieving our brand's visual goals.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute photo shoot concepts that align with the brand's vision and target audience.
Conduct extensive research and stay up-to-date with the latest home decor trends, styles, and themes to ensure innovative and compelling styling ideas.
Create mood boards and storyboards to visually communicate your styling concepts and collaborate with the team to refine the overall vision for each shoot.
Source and curate a wide range of home decor props, furniture, accessories, and materials that complement the product line and enhance the overall composition.
Prepare and organize styling materials, including ironing fabrics, steaming garments, arranging props, and ensuring all items are in pristine condition before and during the shoot.
Work closely with photographers, art directors, and other team members to establish a cohesive visual language and maintain a consistent aesthetic throughout the photo shoot.
Style and arrange home decor products on set, paying meticulous attention to composition, lighting, color schemes, and product placement to create visually stunning images.
Proactively troubleshoot any styling issues that may arise during the shoot, such as adjusting lighting, repositioning props, or making quick styling changes to optimize the final results.
Collaborate with post-production teams to provide guidance and input during the editing and retouching process to ensure the final images meet the brand's standards.
Stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and meeting deadlines for each photo shoot.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Stylist for photo shoots, with a specific focus on home decor products.
A strong portfolio showcasing your styling expertise in the realm of home decor photography.
In-depth knowledge of current home decor trends, styles, and aesthetics.
Excellent eye for composition, color schemes, and attention to detail.
Proficient in creating mood boards, storyboards, and other visual aids to communicate styling concepts effectively.
Ability to source and curate props, furniture, and accessories that align with the brand's aesthetic and product line.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with photographers, art directors, and other team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Flexibility and adaptability to handle unexpected changes or challenges during the photo shoot process.
Familiarity with post-production processes and ability to provide input during the editing and retouching phase.
