Health Insurance Sales Experienced Producer
Location Altoona, PA
*May be open to remote / office position depending on the candidates previous experience level selling and servicing group health insurance. Qualified candidates to reside within 1 hour of Altoona.
Our Client, a local independent insurance agency, is seeking an experienced, customer focused and professional Health Insurance Producer to join their sales team.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Health Insurance License
- Previous experience as a Health Insurance Sales Representative is required to apply
- Experience in consultative business to business insurance sales with a successful record for results
- Ability to multi-task, follow through and follow up
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong ability to communicate clearly via written and verbal communications
- Strong computer knowledge and excellent typing skills
- Must be enthusiastic, confident, outgoing, and highly motivated
- High School diploma or GED is required
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell group health insurance policies to new and existing clients by Identifying the clients insurance needs, gaps in coverage, and loss exposures (insurable and uninsurable)
- Develop and calculate suitable coverage based on clients' needs
- Resolve client inquiries and complaints
- Expand business reach through networking techniques
- Comply with insurance standards and regulations
Creates and maintains prospect and suspect lists
- Track and identify areas of improvement
Compensation Overview:
- Salaried position based on experience
- Plus, an Excellent Commission plan
