Technical Sales Engineer
Full-Time
Remote
Plastic and rubber extrusion manufacturer, with over 50 years experience, is seeking to add a Technical Sales Engineer to their team. The territory will include GA, NC, SC, AL, TN, FL , TX. Need to reside in one of the listed states.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the Technical Sales Engineer will work to grow and service existing accounts as well as add new accounts to their portfolio within the Industrial Seals and Gasket industry. This technical sales engineer role will call upon OEM within 10+ diversified industries and will work with companies to solve application specific technical issues.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in:
- Rubber and/or thermoplastic seal category
- Sealing materials (EPDM, Neoprene, Silicone, PVC, TPV, TPR, TPO)
- Reading blueprints
- Engineering degree is highly preferred
Compensation: Base + commission; after 1-2 years, total compensation should be between $150-$200k +
Location: Remote Must reside in GA, NC, SC, AL, TN, FL or TX
Travel: 35-40%
Car Allowance: $700/month

Background Profile:
- 5+ sales experience within rubber and/or thermoplastic seal category, prefer experience selling directly to OEM
- Sealing materials knowledge (EPDM, Neoprene, Silicone, PVC, TPV, TPR, TPO)
- Plastic and rubber extrusion experience HIGHLY desired
- History of growing accounts year over year
- Engineering degree is highly preferred
