Galileo Financial Technologies, LLC seeks Staff Software Engineer in New York, NY:

Job Duties: Lead the development and testing of our systems and services. Write, test, and deploy efficient, scalable code to production that impacts millions of individuals. Ensure that our codebase remains easy to change and is always shippable. Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product. Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team. Communicate and collaborate with product and design. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java (1 year); (2) Spring Boot; (3) Git; (4) Maven (1 year); (5) Python; (6) Docker (1 year); and (7) AWS. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $242,050.00 - $278,357.00 per annum.
