Costco Wholesale Corporation is seeking a Software Developer for its Issaquah, Washington office.

Job Duties: Design, develop, maintain, extend RPG applications, and implement software solutions for the Warehouse Solutions Vertical. Build business sustainable software solutions, working closely with other software developers to design new systems or improve existing systems. Support a wide range of technology projects including configurations, software development, integration, installation of patches and upgrades, and support of large complex systems. Develop solution and functional design documents to support development of final solutions. Ensure software systems and applications are proactively monitored. Provide software support for systems and applications. Telecommuting permitted.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Plus one year of experience in: Designing, developing, maintaining, and extending RPG applications utilizing As400, RPGLE, CLLE, RPG, and DB2. Upgrading and supporting large corporate environments, including implementing and integrating new software systems; and Developing solution and functional design documents to support enterprise solutions.

In lieu of Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus one year of experience as described above, employer will accept three years of experience in: Designing, developing, maintaining, and extending RPG applications utilizing As400, RPGLE, CLLE, RPG, and DB2; Upgrading and supporting large corporate environments, including implementing and integrating new software systems; and Developing solution and functional design documents to support enterprise solutions.
