Summary:
The Security Manager is responsible forthe overall management of the security department to ensure Fan, team member and venue safety. They ensure to Fan satisfaction by guarding, patrolling, and monitoringthe premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules within a Category Defining, Shared Reality Venue.

Responsibilities:
Work to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to the security department as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations.

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, Fans, and other persons to guard against theft and maintainsecurity of premises.

Moves throughout the venue and all areas to visually monitorand take corrective action, when needed.

Provides guidance and improvement and implements necessary adjustments.

Investigates and resolves security complaints. Interacts positively with Fans in a CosmWorthymanner.

Circulate among visitors, Fans, or Cosmnautsto preserve order and protect property.

Interviews, selects, trains, supervises, counsels and disciplines security staff for the efficient operation of the security department.

Partner with fellow Team members at the end of the evening to close thein a CosmWorthymanner.

Organizes and conducts meetings and communicates pertinent information to the team. Schedules and directs team in their work assignments.

Regularly reviews and evaluates the department and recommends and implements new operational policies and procedures, when necessary.

Partner with Hollywood Park Security team to ensure consistent practices across the district.

Must Lead daily through our Pillars of Service: Connected, Optimistic, Service Oriented and Memorable.

Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

5+ years experience in Law Enforcement or Security.

Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.

Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy, with the ability to respond in a CosmWorthymanner in any situation.

Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.

Must have flexibility to work on nights, weekends, or holidays as business needs dictate.

The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $67,000-$77,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidates geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
