The BI Data Delivery Analyst will be responsible for supporting business requirements using the available Business Intelligence platform(s), building IDT(universe), developing the reports and analysing results needed to support strategic and operational objectives. The BI analyst will align with the Business to build and maintain relevant client SLA reporting, Operational reports and dashboards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Execute report creation and delivery of reports to end users
  • Transform data sets into simple visuals and dashboards for review and action using Business Intelligence reporting tools
  • Recommend the appropriate report tool/functionality to meet business visualization needs, design and build reports driven by requirements and iterations of feedback from business
  • Respond to new and adhoc report requests based on the defined governance process
  • Highlight areas of opportunity or highlight improved performance based on report results
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other departments to effectively partner on reporting needs
  • Recommend improvements in the reporting
  • Develop and maintain appropriate documentation of reporting requirements and process
  • Interact with the reporting team to establish/clarify requirements and develop report specifications
  • Review all report requests against current report library and business needs to ensure optimal efficiency in delivery

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Professional /Job Experience

Essential

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Business Objects
  • Ability to understand data architecture as it relates to reporting support.
  • Experience working with business users to understand reporting and data requirements
  • Strong critical thinking skills, including problem analysis and resolution.
  • Must be able to understand technical concepts of the system environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer service attitude.
  • Must be extremely well organized and thorough.
  • The ideal candidate sees every problem or issue as a potential opportunity; strives for continual process improvement and approaches daily tasks with a positive attitude and a strong desire to elevate the user experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

  • Knowledge on Web Intelligence and IDT
  • SQL Proficiency
  • Oracle APEX Forms.

Academic Degree, Education and Training

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
