Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Branch Credit Manager to join our microfinance business. Branch Credit Manager will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of our microfinance clients- JLG Loans and ensuring that loans are disbursed in compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in the microfinance industry and a strong understanding of the credit assessment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting credit assessments of microfinance clients
• Evaluating loan applications and making recommendations based on credit risk analysis
• Preparing loan documents and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Providing guidance to clients on financial management and loan repayment
• Ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of loans
• Monitoring loan repayment and following up with clients on delinquent accounts
• Collaborating with other team members to improve credit processes and procedures
• Maintaining accurate records and reports on loan portfolio performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the microfinance industry in Credit or Audit departments
• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of credit risk analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Familiarity with microfinance regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and loan management software
