Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring all financial and accounting information is entered correctly into the system.
• Input invoices, bills, receipts, and other financial documents into the accounting software or database.
• Verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve any discrepancies or errors promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and analyses by entering and organizing data as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhere to data protection policies and regulations.
• Support the Finance & Accounting team with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and contribute to the overall success of the Finance & Accounting department.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to data entry and financial record-keeping.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting environment.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and input financial data accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of logistics or transportation industry operations is an advantage.
