Job Description
Hiring Java Backend developer for Orion Innovation's client project.
Primary Skill: Java, Springboot
Exp: 4-6years
Work from home.
We're looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Java Backend Software Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. This role primarily focuses on Java 1.8 or above and Spring Boot. Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement RESTful APIs for internal & external consumption.
2. Apply your extensive knowledge of Java 1.8 or above for server-side application logic.
3. Employ your understanding of Spring Boot for building scalable and enterprise-grade applications.
4. Assist with architecture, design, development, and enhancement of software components.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
6. Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability.
7. Follow coding standards, build appropriate and effective logging, understand the full product lifecycle, and effectively implement practical solutions. Requirements:
1. Demonstrable experience as a Backend Developer.
2. Proficient in Spring Boot / Java 1.8 or above.
3. Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM/KANBAN) & Tools such as JIRA.
4. Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git / Bitbucket.
5. Experience fixing FOSS Vulnerabilities
6. Experience in improving code quality based on SonarQube reports.
7. Experience in fixing application security Vulnerabilities based on Fortify DAST reports.
8. Self-motivated individual with sense of responsibility.
