A day in the life:

As an Account Specialist within our Business Insurance Property & Casualty Group, you will be an integral team member who supports the Account Management and Sales teams with high quality work product to ensure client needs and expectations are met. All Account Specialists can expect ongoing Professional development opportunities that include On-The-Job Training with both management and team members, mentorship, career pathing and Tuition Assistance.


A future Account Specialist can expect to:

Coordinate and complete the marketing process for new and renewal group business, including compiling data, rates, experience, soliciting quotes, monitoring bid requests, corresponding with vendors and preparing complex cost sheets according to the marketing process and workflow guidelines outlined in the Resource Guide.
Support the process for issuing and managing certificates of insurance, completing applications and transmitting information to clients and insurance carriers.
Support preparation of client communication materials used in strategic planning, renewal and/or quarterly reviews, finalist presentations, and any other client facing interactions during the year.
Clearly demonstrate compliance with all processes, procedures, workflows and documented standards to deliver accurate materials in a timely manner.
Respond to client in all areas of customer service including directing or responding to client telephone calls/emails.


What you need to have:

Very effective oral and written communication skills as well as relationship building skills
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Exceptional time management and organization skills
Active insurance license or willingness to obtain it within 3 months of employment


What makes you stand out?

Experience in Property and Casualty Insurance
A degree in Risk Management, Business or other related program
Demonstrated experience in Customer Service

The applicable base salary range for this role is $39,300 to $65,940. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
