Acting as a Senior Business Analyst for our placement function you will be expected to work with the Placement, data and analytics teams on placement data gathering, building metrics and managing reporting of placement. Leverage project management and insurance experience to engage placement teams across the globe on new placement initiatives digital and non-digital.

We will count on you to:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our MMB Global Commercial team. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting placement teams in their day-to-day operations, collaborating with regional placement leaders in driving operational excellence and additional revenue for the business. The ideal candidate will have experience of insurance/insurance broking, strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and willingness to go the extra mile to deliver the MMB placement agenda. Program/Project management experience is an added advantage.

Perform requirements analysis and produce thorough documentation.

Work with the data governance lead and analytics teams to ensure high quality and relevant business intelligence and analysis is made available to local teams

Gather critical information from meetings with stakeholders and run projects unassisted

Leverage technology and/or insurance background to help evaluate tools/technology options that best meet need of the placement teams


Roles and Responsibilities will include


Working closely with the Placement Operations Leader to analyze placement metrics for 70+ countries, identify trends, and provide insights to support local placement team

Independently collaborate with regional and country placement leaders to gather and report data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Conduct trainings for placement colleagues on new tools and practices, ensuring smooth adoption and proficiency.

Compile and present monthly reports for Placement, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with other business units to align placement agendas and drive cross-functional initiatives that support brokers.

Work closely with the Operations and Technology (O&T) teams to assist in the development and deployment of new tools and technologies to enhance broker support.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor practices and other best practices to provide recommendations for process improvements.


What you need to have:


9+ years of experience with minimum 3-5 years on implementation, Business Analysis/Project Management or QA experience required

Bachelors Degree In Information Sciences/ Engineering/Business Administration, Masters Degree or equivalent

Proven experience as a Project Manager/ Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the insurance or brokerage industry.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.

Strong understanding of technology, data analytics, digital/SaaS products and a strategic mind-set

Proficient in data visualization and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau and familiarity with data science and data wrangling processes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with brokers and stakeholders at all levels.

Excellent facilitation skills with bringing multiple groups together to agree on project scope and build consensus.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Program management experience is an added advantage.

Knowledge of insurance placement operations and broking processes is preferred.
