Mercer Marsh Benefits Analytics team seek an experienced, inquisitive, business facing Business Analyst.

Based in our London office, you will join at the start of a high profile, new multi-year global project.

Working closely with our Senior Project Manager, key MMB stakeholders, Developers and UX teams, you will be expected to assist the team with requirements, workshops and more, together that will enable the development of products at a global, regional, and country perspective, contributing to the timely delivery of our key Plan Design product.

We will look for your feedback & ideas for both existing and new solutions, collaboratively working with our Commercial, Product and Technology teams.

You will bring an understanding of what it takes for a product to get to market, what our teams need to deliver plus the ability to communicate, document and present to high profile project sponsors.

We believe this would be a great challenge for a talented BA with experience of working on large scale projects.

What you need to have:

Significant experience as a BA working on high-profile and/or large-scale products.
Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders, peers, and senior leadership.
Ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to management and the MMB Analytics team, presenting complex information in a format appropriate to the audience.
An intuitive, proactive work approach, to comfortably scope, drive and deliver on initiatives.
An awareness of SaaS products and a strategic mind-set


What makes you stand out:

Awareness of the value and impact analytics can provide within a business and the wider market.
Proven experience in using Agile methodology and how to practically use its principles to facilitate sprint planning and backlog refinement.
Knowledge of market research, analytics, and relevant technologies


We will rely on you to:

Document and evaluate business processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions alongside the Analytics team.
Work alongside a Product Owner, and technical leads, to create and monitor business requirements.
Conduct meetings, workshops and presentations with the Analytics team and the wider business to share ideas and enable future development.
Perform requirements analysis and produce thorough documentation.
Gather critical information from meetings with stakeholders and technical resources to produce useful feedback and help groom the product backlog.
Work closely with clients, technical resources, consultants and senior leaders.
Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements, using acceptance criteria or other known practices.
Report on common sources of technical issues or questions, making recommendations to the associated team(s).
Assist with project management for selected projects and product deliveries.
Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories, assigning sprints where necessary.
