Account Manager

, Equine Farm & Ranch Team


The Account Manager is responsible for carrying out the MMA-NE Service and Operational standards with the goal of exceeding our Retention Goals and preventing E&O exposure. The Account Manager is a client facing position and must develop strong relationships with our clients, intermediaries as well as with the insurance marketplace. This position interacts with clients, intermediaries, insurance markets, accounting, marketing, claims, loss control and management as part of servicing function.
This position must interact professionally with producers and other team members while retaining accounts in a proactive manner. The Account Manager within the Equine Farm & Ranch team must have a high degree of expertise within this industry and can work independently.


We will need you to:

Provide assistance to the producer to include but not limited to new business sales process and procedures.
Establishing the renewal strategy in concert with Producer, Service andPlacement team
Endeavor to expand services at each renewal through upselling and cross selling.
Secure exposure information from client in concert with the Producer and identify any coverage deficiencies.
Directly responsible for client contract review andreview audits and endorsements
Prepare, maintain and execute aservice calendar in collaboration with client, service team and producer;
Assist with the pre-renewal/stewardship, renewal proposal presentation, claim review and loss control meetings
Address and resolve client issues


What you need to have:

5+ years insurance industry experience with at least 2 years direct experience with Equine Farm & Ranch
Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to conduct presentations and speak to internal and external stakeholders at all levels
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as agency management systems and web browser software
Exceptional time management and organization skillsand demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
