Procurement Specialist (Hybrid) We have an immediate need for a contract Procurement Specialist to join one of the nation’s largest independent automotive parts retailers. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for monitoring end-to-end data flow and connectivity for daily replenishment orders. They will identify, trouble shoot and correct all system errors during daily order placement. The Procurement Specialist processes all purchase orders that are not auto generated. They will monitor and adjust direct vendor to store deliveries to keep the integrity and accuracy of inventory levels. Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Onsite) This job expects to pay about $35 – 40 per hour plus benefits.. What You Will Do:
- Monitors all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and manual orders for Tires, Wheels, and Accessories on a daily basis.
- Utilizes SAP and Blue Yonder for all phases of procurement.
- Trouble shoots, creates tickets and logs issues for resolution.
- Monitors all vendor to store orders end to end through delivery
- Tracks and reports daily orders, confirmations, and stock transfer orders by DC
- Creates outbound delivery documents as needed, in partnership with the DCs
- Places new store orders for Accessories and Wheel Weights. Maintains tracking sheets and monitors/communicates order status with store and vendors.
- Processes and tracks special stock and hold orders through SAP when applicable.
- Collaborates with Inventory Accounting and/or Inventory Payables on Purchase Orders that require further research before they can be processed for payment or received by the store.
- Creates vendor communications for holidays and vendor inventory dates, and maintains spreadsheet
- Creates and sends EDI test POs for new vendor onboarding in production
- Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to product and procurement and replenishment processes, procedures and services
What Gets You The Job:
- Two to three years of prior experience in procurement, Supply Chain or full-time company experience.
- Experience with SAP or other inventory management software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and cross functional teams.
- Must possess strong organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with systems and large data sets.
