Our client has an immediate need for a Information Security Systems Officer (L3) to join their team in Albuquerque, NM(link removed)

In this position, the ideal candidate will utilize their background in Air Force / Space Force cybersecurity to provide essential support to the government by offering recommendations and solutions for the implementation of AF Special Programs and Intelligence Community cybersecurity initiatives and projects.

MUST HAVE A TS/SCI TO BE CONSIDERED FOR POSITION

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with government stakeholders to provide recommendations and solutions for implementing cybersecurity measures in support of Air Force Special Programs and Intelligence Community projects.


• Apply and enforce IT security control requirements to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of system data and resources.


• Ensure compatibility of security solutions with system and network hardware and software configurations, while seeking approval from configuration managers.


• Conduct periodic security testing using intrusion and vulnerability scanning tools to assess and mitigate threats.


• Collect, review, and detect audit records, including the identification of anomalies, to maintain the security posture of Information Systems.

Education and/or Experience:

• 10+ years of relevant DoD work experience.


• 6 + years of experience as a Cybersecurity Developer or related functional area.


• Masters degree (MA/MS/ME) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, or related degree.


• Relevant work experience/training certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.


• 1 + year of experience using Risk Management Framework (RMF) IT security controls and policies.


• Minimum DoD 8140/DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification.

Compensation: $150,000 - $165,000 DOE
