This is an exciting role, with three main areas of responsibility.

A) Accounting related projects, to include bookkeeping and compiling financial statements [Balance Sheets, Income Statements, etc.]. Additionally, you will analyze financial documents, record and verify transactions, and complete payroll for select clients.
B) Complete A to Z client tax returns: from all forms of client records, to accurate software inputs, all the way to a finished tax return for a Senior Manager or Partner to
review, approve, and sign. Our client specializes in tax preparation. Tax return types include:

Non-profits (Form 990)

Individual federal and state returns (Form 1040)

Estates and trusts (Form 1041)

Partnerships (Form 1065)

Corporate returns (Form 1120)

S-Corp returns (Form 1120S)

Tennessee franchise and excise tax.

C) In terms of tax resolution matters, this individual will perform the following duties:

Act as an intermediary for citizens and private businesses when interacting with the IRS on tax matters, questions, and disputes(link removed)

Preparing financial statements and tax returns.

Conducting audits.

Resolution services include:

Amended returns

Currently non-collectible status

Installment agreement requests

Offer-in-compromise

Penalty abatement
