Salesforce Inc. seeks Network Engineering Senior in Dallas, TX:

Job Duties: Design and engineer for technical network projects and work alongside architects and other engineers to deliver network solutions that align with company vision and growth. Design, implement, and support L2-L3 network in data centers with a deep understanding of L4-L7 (security and load-balancer). Accountable for design, implementation, and troubleshooting Salesforce global network BGP routing, backbone MPLS, Public Cloud Peering, VXLAN with private cloud. Work on continual service improvement which includes network capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Prepare and maintain up-to-date design, standards, and documentation for internal and external customers detailing configuration of deployed solutions. Drive continual evolution and support for disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) BGP & OSPF Routing and Backbone MPLS; (2) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Enterprise; (3) VRF and VXLAN; (4) EVPN; (5) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Enterprise Design Specialist; (6) Public Cloud Networking and Peering; (7) AWS Advance Network Specialist; (8) Aviatrix ACE Professional; (9) Firewall Security Policy and IPS/IDS; (10) Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer certificate (PCNSE); (11) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certificate; and (12) VMware Advanced Load balancer/F5. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
