COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

The pay range provided is not indicative of Sysco’s actual pay range but is merely algorithmic and provided for generalized comparison. Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factors

Position Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to support both our warehouse and labeling functions through clerical tasks and responsibilities. This role will also provide some hands-on operations support by helping with warehouse floor duties as needed (i.e. labeling, checking, USDA stamping, etc.)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Route Generation
• Scheduling inbound freight
• Reviewing dates to ensure they are within the guidelines of the receiving country. Reviewing photos/folder of shipment information and asks approval from management before loading. Clerical duties: answering phone, filing, responding to inquiries, photocopying, etc.
• Floor operations duties (Checking Orders, USDA Stamping, Labeling product based on needs)
• Processing labeling folders (Identifying products requiring labeling, monitoring the sales calendar, revising pull sheets, calculating label counts, ensuring all required paperwork is in each order folder, filing, data entry, emails, assistance with projects, etc.)

Education:

• HSD or equivalent.

Experience:

• 1-year of office experience preferred. Prior warehouse and/ or material handling equipment experience preferred.

Skills:

• Detail oriented and self-motivated with excellent communication skills. Ability to multi task, lift up to 50 lbs. often and up to 100 lbs. occasionally, work in both ambient and freezer temperatures, read and speak English.
• Ability to operate a computer and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & Outlook)
• AS400 experience preferred.
• The work load can vary significantly. Associates in this role must have the flexibility to work shifts that may include long hours and have varying shift start and end times.
