JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support the Senior Pastor in conducting ceremonies, planning worship services, enacting the mission and vision of the ministry, and performing outreach programs;
• Provide spiritual and pastoral leadership to membership;
• Welcome visitors and create ways for new guests to get plugged into our local body and ministry.
• Provide counseling, prayer, and member visitation to the congregation and newcomers/visitors as needed and requested;
• In cooperation with the Senior Pastor, plan and prepare the content and direction of church worship services.
• Assist in teaching and directing the religious and educational programs in accordance with the church’s mission;
• Mentor and provide counseling to the Youth Ministry throughout a discipleship training course, Bible study, and classes;
• Assist in integrating Youth Ministry into the main church through connecting them with worship, service, outreach, and fellowship;
• Lead Bible studies and small groups;
• Prepare sermons by praying, meditating, and studying scriptures.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree
