Job DescriptionThis is a cross-development role that conceives of and drives company-wide Solutions QE strategies that ensure best-of-breed solutions test and QE behavior across the company. If you are an SDET with hands-on experience testing complex cloud and on-prem solutions for the enterprise and you would like to raise the bar with state-of-the-art solutions test automation and infrastructure, we would like to hear from you. What you will be doing: Lead and implemented projects for continued infrastructure improvement, infrastructure automation, and deployments of new systems Contribute to building a flexible and scalable automation solution Help create and implement quality processes and requirements Work closely with the team to replicate customer environments Automate complex test suites Develop test libraries and coordinate adoption Identify and communicate risks about our releases. Be able to own and make quality decisions for the solution. Own the release and be a. customer advocate. Combine your understanding of automation needs and IT aspects to provide stable, efficient and self-service R&D test environments Develop expertise in our supply chain security solutions, and use that expertise and your experience to help design and qualify the solution as a whole Work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain automated CI pipelines Help create and implement quality processes and requirements Required skills and experience: 5+ years of experience as an SDET with a track record showing that you are a highly motivated individual, capable of coming up with creative, innovative solutions in a collaborative environment Experience managing and maintaining distributed production and/or nonproduction environments Strong programming skills. We work primarily in Python and any other scripting language. Knowledge of Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipeline, or any other CI system Experience testing distributed systems A proponent of Strong Quality Engineering Methodology Strong knowledge of Linux systems, Docker containers Hands-on experience in the AWS environment. Experience building automation frameworks using API-based and record-and-play automation tools to automate the UI flows. Experience with databases, SQL and NoSQL MongoDB a plus Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization. Comfortable with ambiguity and taking the initiative regarding issues and decisions Proven ability to apply data structures and algorithms to practical problems. Bonus points for knowledge of database internals and query processing and SaaS security infrastructure Strong expertise in TCP/IP, UDP & HTTP Excellent communication and follow-up skills and very engaging interpersonal skills Qualifications B.E or equivalent required, M.E or equivalent strongly preferred Employement Category:Employement Type: Full time Industry: IT Role Category: IT Services & Consulting Functional Area: Not Applicable Role/Responsibilies: Software Engineer in Test
