The Role
Where you fit in
As an Senior software engineerfor the Azure Data Platform, youll work on ensuring application reliability and working in a true DevOps environment, ensuring that infrastructure is running smoothly, increasing efficiency through automation, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. The SSE responsibilities for Azure Data Platform consist of both Engineering and Operations teams into a DevOps model, rigorously investing in product and platform reliability through software best practices
Whats your role
Drive automation initiatives to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes
Help establish best practices around data governance, data security and privacy including handling Confidential and Most Confidential data.
Product stability, compliance, and security enabled through the Operational Readiness Framework (ORF) and automation of ORF tasks and evidence
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to improve system reliability, performance, and efficiency
What we need from you
In-depth knowledge of Azure services,
Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Azure Log Analytics, or similar solutions
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Knowledge of security principles and best practices for securing Azure resources
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a strong attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
