Help build the foundational data systems and interfaces, upon which the company’s new features and capabilities will be built. Detailed job duties include: Employ languages and tools like GoLang, C++, Python and others to build scalable systems to form the data foundation upon which other services and capabilities could be built; Design, build and launch extremely efficient and reliable software systems to handle large scale data pipelines, as well as their compute and storage needs; Strive to use readily available, general and scalable methodologies and tools; stay current with latest tools and techniques; Help build monitoring, alerting and robust automated test framework; Build actionable alerts, continuous monitoring to ensure uptime of the services owned by data foundation team; Troubleshoot, resolve and address SEVs and customer reported issues. $136,000 - $165,000 per year. Minimum job requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. Must be proficient with at least one of the following programming languages: C++, Java, Python or Golang; Must have knowledge with one of the following cloud platforms: AWS, Asure or GCP and knowledge in Cloud Security or Infrastructure Security. Require coursework or projects relating to querying massive datasets using Snowflake or Spark. May telecommute.
