You'll be a frontline hunter, forging strategic partnerships and helping businesses optimize their operations with our cutting-edge solutions. Industrial Sales Engineer: Drive Growth in the Western US Remote position: candidate can live anywhere on the West Coast near a major airport. We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Industrial Sales Engineer to join our high-performing team and spearhead expansion across the Western United States [WA, OR, MT, ID, WY, NV, UT, CO, AZ, NM, and CA]. This impactful role will focus on cultivating and maximizing existing customer relationships, while actively pursuing new opportunities within the dynamic industrial landscape of the West. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sustainable sales growth across the assigned Western territory.
- Foster strong relationships with key decision-makers at established and prospective clients.
- Identify and qualify lucrative sales opportunities, presenting compelling solutions that address specific client needs.
- Effectively negotiate and close deals, exceeding established sales targets and contributing to overall company revenue goals.
- Provide expert technical and industry knowledge, serving as a trusted advisor to clients on optimizing their operations.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, leveraging resources and expertise to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities, maintaining a keen understanding of regional market dynamics.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven success in industrial sales, with a demonstrably strong track record of exceeding quotas and achieving objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, business, or similar) or equivalent industry experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging audiences at all levels.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Deep understanding of industrial processes and applications, ideally including CNC machinery and sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
- Extensive travel within the Western region is required (approximately 40%).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace challenges, and consistently set and exceed personal goals.
