Quality Assurance Manager / Quality Engineer - Wooster, Ohio - JOB 440-24-00316

Salary Range: $65k - $80k+ Permanent Position with Benefits.

Wooster, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire a skilled Quality Assurance Manager to monitor all processes and inspections for compliance to standards.

REQUIREMENTS
• High School Graduate (Associate or Bachelor degree preferred)
• Four-Year College Engineering, Engineering Technology or Technical Degree (and/or related experience)
• Experience in an industrial environment is preferred, entry level candidates with high degree of schooling in manufacturing quality control management will be considered
• Maintain the quality control department personnel, training requirements, procedures, records and analysis
• Investigate problems and formulate corrective actions
• Assist with design reviews and evaluations of new products
• Perform formal and informal internal audits
• Interview and train quality control employees as needed
• Plan, assign, and lead quality team, oversee performance of employees in the quality department
• Familiar with vulcanized rubber, polyester, textile fibers / plastic, and paper products manufacturer for the electrical, automotive, medical, aerospace, military, and packaging industries is a plus
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Possible occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required.
