From conceptual design to system integration and commissioning, you will leverage your technical expertise to deliver high-quality, reliable control systems that drive operational excellence and maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and customers to understand project requirements and specifications for industrial automation systems.

  2. Design and develop control system architectures, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) programming, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) configuration, and industrial networking.

  3. Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts for control system installations.

  4. Program PLCs and HMIs using industry-standard software platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Automation) to implement control logic, sequence of operations, and user interfaces.

  5. Configure SCADA systems to collect and visualize real-time data, monitor equipment status, and provide remote access and control capabilities.

  6. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of control systems to ensure proper functionality, safety, and compliance with specifications.

  7. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to integrate control systems with mechanical equipment, sensors, actuators, and other industrial components.

  8. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during system installation, startup, and commissioning activities.

  9. Develop and maintain documentation, including control system specifications, user manuals, and training materials.

  10. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in industrial automation to continuously improve control system designs and capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience in controls engineering or related roles within the industrial automation industry.

  • Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and HMI development software.

  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus) and networking technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of control system hardware, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial sensors/actuators.

  • Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) for creating schematics and panel layouts.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in control systems.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and reliability.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
