Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant

Job Description:
Stay informed about tax codes, trends, and developments. Master and utilize tax planning and research software such as UltraTax CS, Planner CS, NewPortWave Year End Solutions, and BNA Income Tax Planning Solutions. Assess and adopt research technology tools specifically developed and managed for tax professionals, such as Bloomberg Tax Research and Checkpoint. Conduct efficient tax research with due professional care. Develop tax strategies for client financial decisions. Plan tax payments, forecasts, and reconciliations. Implement tax- efficient investment strategies. Lead and manage tax compliance engagements, employing tools like Thomson GoSystem Tax. Provide audit support and responses to tax authorities. Engage in business development projects to improve tax systems, including automation solutions and API integration. Utilize professional tax and financial software, such as QuickBooks, and NetSuite. Prepare various U.S. and multi-state tax returns. Address income tax preparation issues. Research and prepare supporting tax memorandums. Process financial accounting data for filing requirements. Review work papers and provision calculations. Prepare reports and franchise tax returns. Maintain client communication and compliance. Establish efficient tax processes and procedures for accurate and timely tax returns.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related. Knowledge of or experience in improve accounting information systems and tax return preparation. Knowledge of or experience in analyze company’s tax status and perform tax research. Knowledge of or experience in UltraTax, Tax Planner CS, and Intuit QuickBooks. Knowledge of or experience in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, tax and business laws and Internal Revenue Codes, Verifiable references. Able to work overtime, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
