Job description
Position Summary:

The candidate would be a part of a group of carpenters in the fabrication and assembly of wooden furniture soft seating, tables, chairs and cabinet.

Qualifications:

Ability to follow blueprints for custom items/furniture and assume dimensions out of pictures.

Vast knowledge of joinery methods, tooling and know-how is required.

Knowledge of tools such as tape measure, staple guns, various types of saws, etc.

Requires the ability to measure and cut wood, glue and staple wood pieces together and construct furniture frames.

Requires the ability to use band saws, jig saws, table saws, mortising and tenoning machines.

Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend for 9 hours or more daily

May require lifting up to 50 lbs.

Knowledge of saw mill operation is a plus.

Knowledge of CNC operations is a plus.
