Job description
A leading manufacturer of commercial wooden furniture is looking for hands on, highly motivated CNC programmer. Our company uses various CNC (3 and 5 axis machines) and robots to manufacture commercial Furniture.

The position responsibilities include design and creation of CNC - robotic and PLC programs to integrate robotic cells for various automation (milling and painting) applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to take a project from start to finish. You Must possess a good attitude, good communication skills, safety conscience, and the ability to work well with others.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Create programs online and offline using CAD/CAM programms: Inventor Cam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AlphaCam
configure I/O, develop code to perform specified tasks, setup programs to communicate with a PLC and other peripheral equipment as needed.
Work from blueprints, samples, work orders and instruction, install and adjust various types of tooling and fixtures in the work centers
Write programs for CNC work centers to fabricate component parts to stated engineering specifications
Ability to edit CNC Programs manually on machine.
Desired Education and Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience and Associate Degree required; preferably related to automation, robotics or manufacturing. Experience with FANUC and UR robots and controllers is a plus. 5+ years of applicable job experience in Controls Design Engineering

Experience with PLC programming, Allen Bradley/Rockwell Logix and Siemens. Proficiency in any CAD/CAM at the highest level (Mastercam, ALphacam, Solidworks, Inventor
