Industrial Maintenance Technician

SCOPE:

Provide comprehensive maintenance support for the entire woodworking manufacturing facility, encompassing office spaces, building grounds, and all on-site mechanical equipment. This role is crucial in supporting various manufacturing processes aimed at delivering high-quality restaurant furniture across diverse industries and clientele.

Job Responsibilities:

Seek a self-driven and proficient Maintenance Technician with expertise in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in essential skills for effective manufacturing equipment maintenance.

Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance.

Troubleshoot mechanical failures and provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production, along with scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.

Dismantle machinery, remove/replace defective parts, and conduct preventative maintenance on production machines (e.g., grease and oil).

Determine changes in part requirements by inspecting with various measuring instruments.

Assist with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.

Qualifications and Skills: **MUST HAVE MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE**

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and PLCs, along with understanding motors and controls.

Troubleshoot and maintain forklift engines, conveyors, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment.

Familiarity with CNC machines for problem analysis and necessary repairs.

In-depth knowledge of different sanding machines (Wide belt, drum sander, edge sander) and their components.

Strong understanding of system maintenance.

Ability to lift and move up to 75lbs.

Familiarity with safety standards and regulations, including lockout/tagout.

Knowledge of manufacturing, safety practices, and procedures.

Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in woodworking industrial maintenance preferred.

Experience in industrial electrical, relay logic, basic PLC, and variable frequency drive knowledge and troubleshooting preferred.

Helpful experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week.
