TRN Systems is seeking qualified individuals to support a software testing effort. The qualified applicant will have demonstrated testing experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Position Responsibilities: Understand system requirements to create and advise on test cases from those requirements Define and track test coverage of system requirements (traceability) Create step-by-step test scripts for test cases and define all required supporting data and documentation Identify issues, facilitate review of those issues with appropriate client and development team parties, enter defects as appropriate Execute test cases as written and determine pass/fail Track and manage issues and defects, ensure re-test and closure as appropriate Coach, train, and guide non-technical end users in the execution of system testing Position Requirements: This is an onsite position. Candidate will need to go to the Jefferson City office, days a week. Bachelor s Degree Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on system development projects (with SDLC) Minimum 3-5 years of software testing experience Demonstrated System & User Acceptance Testing experience Advanced Microsoft Office and SharePoint experience Experience working with State Government a MUST Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a self-directed manner to accomplish objectives Demonstrated ability to be organized and multi-task; establish and follow priorities
