Director Supply Chain, needed in Princeton, NJ:
The Director Supply Chain for Bionpharma, Inc. will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain operations, developing supply chain management strategies, and building the efficient processes of the supply chain system. This role helps drive optimal performance from staff and lower the costs of items used for pharmaceutical products currently in development for Bionpharma, Inc. Main worksite: 400 Alexander Park, Suite #2-4B, Princeton, NJ 08540

Specific Tasks will include:
•Develop and implement supply chain strategy and align with goals and objectives of the company.
•Identify and drive continuous initiatives to optimization, costs and efficiency.
•Oversee overall inventory planning, optimization and demand forecasting to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing short dated and obsolete inventory. Implement tools like MAPE, forecast bias, smoothing etc. into the forecasting methods.
•Collaborate with sales, marketing and production teams to align production, inventory with market fluctuations to support OTB’s and new bids.
•Build and maintain relationships with API and raw material suppliers, CMO’s and distributors to ensure timely supply of Raw materials, packaging materials and finished product including controlled substances and DEA quotas of the same.
•Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, raw material and finished product pricing and ensure suppliers maintain quality standards.
•Responsible for auditing and qualifying potential new CMO’s and establish commercial contracts/supply agreements (MSA).
•Manage transportation, distribution and warehousing of all raw materials and finished product according to cGMP regulations.
•Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks and establish contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
•Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance and regulatory affairs teams to ensure timely new product launches and tech transfers.
•Provide industry expertise and technical inputs in establishing ERP systems and databases in the company.
•Implementation of serialization according to FDA and DSCSA requirements.
•Create specific objectives for the projects and develop budgets, policies, procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
•Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure products are available to customers and ensure that company policies, processes and procedures comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.
•Define KPI’s for supply chain operations and report and assess performance against targets.
•Lead team of supply chain personnel and provide guidance as necessary.
General, Minimum Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field or its foreign equivalent plus at least 3 years of experience in a supply chain role defining operational processes and planning supply chain strategies that increase efficiency and reduce costs within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience must have included management of multiple CMO’s across the world and project management from ANDA filing to commercialization/launch of at least 1 new pharmaceutical product.

Special Requirements:

Must have strong skills and experience with ERP systems, ie. SAP, cGMP practices, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain management, managing and leading an organization’s transportation strategies & global supply chain and logistics, and Lean/Operational Excellence best practices; Must be familiar with documentation required for filing ANDA’s.
