Applications are invited for two Postdoctoral Research fellow or PhD students to conduct multidisciplinary research on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) or numerical simulation of fluids at Tongji University. Our group has a fantastic international research environment. Shanghai is an international city.

Contract - This is a fixed term position for 36 months and it can be extended.

Location: Tongji University, Shanghai, China, shiping Road, 200092.

Salary range: 300,000RMB (about 42K usd) per year and it can be up to 450K RMB (about 64K USD) if you obtained your PhD outside China and has a good track record.
For the PhD students, you are encourged to apply for the CSC scholarship, which will cover your tuition fee and living cost.

Person Specification

Essential criteria:

A PhD in Computational fluid dynamcs or relevant.
Have strong knowledge of computational fluid dynamics and good experiences of using OpenFoam, or other CFD models.
Evidence of the ability to actively engage in and contribute to writing and publishing research papers, particularly for refereed journals.
A demonstrable ability to conduct research in line with the objectives of the project.
Evidence of planning skills to contribute to the research project.
A commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable Criteria
Strong coding skills, such as Python, Fortran, or C/C++.
