POSITION: ANDROID DEVELOPER (#487274E)
LOCATION: BOSTON, MA

Will collaborate with backend team to define and consume services. Implement an MVVM architecture using the Android data binding library. Coordinate with the QA Team to generate UI Test cases to cover all the scenarios. Gather requirements, create estimations, and manage client expectations. Migrate modules built in React to Kotlin and replacing various library implementations. Modify Scripts in pipelines to Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment. Work Flows with Retrofit to handle network calls in a standardized way. Add Jet Pack UI Components to improve backwards-compatibility and support. Add flavors in Gradle to manage each integration process before release to production and each country version and brand. Add changes in Gradle to get last version of components. Work Coroutines with Retrofit to handle network calls in a standardized way. Use Firebase for local data synchronization and push notifications. Coordinate with the UI/UX specialist to design a user experience for the application. Utilize various custom and commercial libraries to integrate electronic Payments. Configure the Payment operations to be scheduled or immediate. Implement asymmetric cyphering to secure the electronic payment transactions. Correct many custom UI elements to better fit the originally designed specification. Increase the performance of the app by reducing memory leaks and crashes. Gather requirements and managing expectations to maximize client satisfaction on delivery. Conduct code review sessions to have high quality (reusable, simple, documented) code. Create custom and compound views to improve UI elements reusability. Focus on maintaining responsive applications by effectively managing multithreading

Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field along with one year of experience in the Software Industry.
