What you will be doing (or learn to be doing):As a UX Designer at Eightfold AI, you will help define and create the future of employment. In this role, you will apply your love of user experience, craftsmanship and the design process.

Responsibilities
Work closely with Product Managers to identify the problems, business goals, and user outcomes
Collaborate closely with the development teams throughout the lifecycle of the product/feature you are working on
Gather requirements and create user-centered experience flows for the Eightfold AI platform, including collaboration with other teams at Eightfold
Partner with User Researchers to determine and execute the ideal research methodology to evaluate your designs
Articulate design decisions with product stakeholders by providing design rationale and walkthroughs of the process
Design usable, useful, and delightful flows & interactions
Give and solicit feedback from designers and cross-disciplinary partners
Take charge of product initiatives under the mentorship of design leadership
Qualifications
2-4+ years of experience with software product design/UX design- targeting Consumers and/or Enterprises
Strong foundation in both user experience and user interface design.
Complete focus on users and solving for their needs and wants. You put users first and have experience driving impact from insights.
Strong visual design skills. Highly conceptual thinking in visual and interaction design
A strong interest in the latest trends in design and technology with a focus on the future of computing and experience platforms
A passion for innovation and problem-solving
A portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of UX process, consistency, design systems, and attention to detail
Have contributed as a design partner and a strong collaborator with product managers and engineers
Practical experience working with User Researchers (or conducting User Research yourself) and utilizing the results of that research to shape your designs
Understand and convert complex technical requirements to simple and clean user experiences meant for non-technical users.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills


Have shipped digital products
Have cross-platform design experiences (Web, android, iOS, emails)
Experience presenting design decisions to stakeholders, from peers to executives
Experience or curiosity on how to integrate AI appropriately
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters in Design, Computer Science or HCI is preferred
Experience or knowledge in AI products and technology

Pay TransparencyPlease note this role is categorized onsite in (Zone A) Santa Clara, CA or remote (Zone B) within the United States.The base salary ranges below are provided for pay transparency. Base pay is only one piece of our total compensation package as this role may be eligible for bonus and equity awards. Compensation varies depending on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and zone.Zones are determined by location.
Zone A (SF Bay Area, CA & New York City, NY)Base annual salary range: USD $142,000 to $167,000 + discretionary 15% annual bonus + preIPO equity.
Zone B (All other areas within the US)Base annual salary range: USD $136,000 to $160,000 + discretionary 15% annual bonus + preIPO equity.
