ETL Developer (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a contract-to-hire ETL Developer to join our client, a national chain of convenience stores and gas stations. The ETL Developer is responsible for designing and implementing ETL data pipelines. With a focus on Azure and SQL, the ideal candidate will possess experience in building efficient ETL processes and may also contribute to the conversion of existing ETL workflows onto future platforms.

Location: Tempe, Arizona (Remote)

This job expects to pay about $55 - 60 per hour plus benefits.

What You Will Do: 

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL data pipelines to facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective ETL solutions.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, quality, and pipeline performance.
• Document ETL processes, workflows, and configurations for knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Contribute to the migration of existing ETL workflows onto future platforms, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in ETL development and data integration technologies.

What Gets You The Job: 

• Proficiency in Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory or similar ETL tools.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and building ETL data pipelines from diverse data sources.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
