Position Description

• Load / unload trailers, move parts, machinery, equipment and / or finished goods to appropriate area


• Loads trailers with product for shipment ensuring accuracy


• Utilizing a variety of material handling equipment to include scanners, forklift trucks, pallet jacks shrink-wrap machine and other equipment as needed


• As instructed, move material to storage or staging area and ensures proper placement in appropriate location


• May need to break down material to meet distribution requirements


• May audit material as required (individual loads or shipments, periodic cycle counting, etc.)


• Perform forklift checklist and maintains battery fully charged


• Perform trailer checklist


• May need to photograph loads or shipments upon receipt


• Under close supervision, may maintain computerized material records


• Must maintain work area clean and assist others in keeping work area clean


• Comply with company, client, and governmental policies and regulations


• Continue to enhance knowledge of job related operations


• Comply with internal controls and current quality norms


• Other duties may be assigned


• Shift to be confirmed by Hiring Manager

• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand and use hands and fingers, handle, grasp, grab or feel.


• The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms.


• Employee is occasionally required to sit and talk to others


• Must occasionally lift and or move objects up to 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance.


• Must be able to use CRT scanners, calculators, and related equipment


• Must be flexible for rotating shift when required


• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's, with ability to perform these operations using units of US currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance


• Must have 1-3 years of warehouse experience


• There will be on the job training for specific processes.

• Forklift certification and two-year driving experience


• Experience in stand-up and sit-down

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English / Spanish)


• High School Education or general education degree (GED).

Eligibility Requirements:

• Willingness to work in the El Paso, TX location


• Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift
