Senior Process Engineer - Portland, OR


Our client is a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean markets.


They are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support onside installations, development, and process integration of semiconductor equipment in the Portland, OR region. The position reporting directly into an assigned worksite 5 days a week and must reside close to Portland, OR.



You will receive training in either Texas or Oregon for a period of 1-3 months.



Responsibilities:


Work both in a team and independently to support clients equipment process qualification, process development, improvement projects and integration projects with the customer.


Provide a key support role in establishing a new wafer fabrication process technology for semiconductor device manufacturing.


Design and run tests, analyze, summarize, and present data and conclusions.


Collaborate with experts from various teams to improve the manufacturing process.


Perform high quality evaluations on new hardware and software.


Identify issues, troubleshoot, and work with team for resolution.


Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external review.


Interact with customer with limited supervision.



Qualifications:


PhD degree is preferred with 5 years of relevant work experience, or a Masters degree with 8 years of related engineering experience. Degrees in Mechanical, Electrical, Applied Mathematics or Applied Physics will be considered.


Knowledge of Linux operating system is required


Hands on mechanical skills are preferred


Experience with electronic testing tools required


Ability to work on equipment both independently as well as with other engineers as a team player under challenging situations


Knowledge in optical, lasers, software, robotics, precision mechanical skill or chemical are a plus.


Ability to work in a time sensitive situation with quick resolution.


Ability to travel and work flexible schedules


Position requires continuous physical effort; intermittent and long-term work cycles; standing, walking, sitting, repetitive motion, and lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted. Lifting more than 25 lbs requires additional help.


This is a full-time position with salary ranging from $92,210 - $138,080
