ASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to work onsite at the VA Medical Center in Hot Springs, SD. The project entails upgrading their infrastructure to accommodate medical records. Specifically, a low voltage backbone will be installed for this new system and then building and renovating the spaces to accommodate the new system.

Responsible for the management of the entire project, including scheduling, purchasing, quality and safety.
Collaborate with Superintendent(s) on subcontracts.
Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners
Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners.
Collaboration of project safety plan with Superintendent(s)
Responsible for EEO/Affirmative action contract requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
B.S in Construction Management or Engineering
3-5 years of construction experience with a general contractor
2+ years experience with public sector construction, specifically, federal contracting work is a must.
Computer skills, scheduling, good communication and organizational skills are necessary.
Computer literate and proficient with software such as Microsoft Office applications (ie., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc), Dropbox, FTP sites, Adobe, Bluebeam, etc.
