As a Business Development Specialist, you will be focused on maintaining and growing the existing book of business from the company's exclusive list of elite agents, as well as establishing new agency relationships and generating new business. The company writes Middle Market accounts of $50,000 and above, with top classes of business being Construction, Manufacturing, Comm'l Auto, WC and Allied Health.

To be considered for this role, qualified candidates must live in TX and be technically savvy, proficient in middle market commercial Marketing, Sales and Underwriting. The company is looking for those with a proven track record of profitable commercial insurance sales, as well as a minimum of 5-10 years of technical Underwriting experience in the Middle Market arena. Those with established agency relationships in the state of Texas are preferred.

The company will consider candidates located in Houston - Hybrid, Dallas - Remote, San Antonio - Remote, and Austin - Remote. Travel is approximately 25%-40%.
