Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant (CPA) to join our engineering client based in Dallas, TX. Role is 100% in the corporate office located in North Dallas.

Bachelors Degree in Accounting and 4+ years of public accounting experience

CPA strongly preferred

Base salary of $90k - $115k DOE plus bonus opportunity and benefits

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP.


• Conduct monthly and year-end close processes, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.


• Assist with the audit process by providing necessary schedules and documentation and interacting with external auditors.


• Review accounting processes and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness and implement improvements as needed.


• Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.


• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.


• Provide guidance on accounting matters to other departments, fostering cross-departmental collaboration.


• Stay current with accounting regulations, standards, and industry best practices.

Required Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MSA/MBA a plus


• 4+ years of audit experience in a large public accounting firm (Big 4 preferred)


• CPA License strongly preferred


• Excellent problem-solving skills and organizational skills


• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.


• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills.
