Serve as a member of the Enterprise DevOps Team. Work with Dev, QA, and Production Operations to serve as a technical SME responsible for the IT Operations Platform as a Service offering. Design, build, execute against DaVita’s Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings integrate and help define requirements for DaVita’s infrastructure as Service (IaaS) offerings Automate infrastructure and platform service offerings Create the Design, implementation, and ongoing management of systems that deliver against strict requirements for functionality, scalability, performance, and reliability. Serve as top-tier technical escalation point for critical pre-production issues and drives escalation/resolution of problems into Development, QA, and Operations teams. Collaborate with development to design in-house monitoring tools/software for managing the SCM and Development Operations environments. Adopt, customize, and implement industry standard DevOps policies and DevOps procedures. Provide Sr. Management with metrics and other reporting materials for the executive team. Work closely with strategic planning groups to provide future technologies direction that fits executive vision. Develop and define process and procedure to proactively manage all pre-production and production environments. Work with multiple in-house external Software Configuration Management (SCM) teams’ enterprise wide to assist in new architectural needs and optimize existing environments to improve workflow and productivity. Proactively monitor production and non-production micro-service-based environments to ensure stability and performance through entire application lifecycle. Troubleshoot operational issues to identify root cause and implement long-term solutions for identified issues in conjunction with development and operational teams. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development and quality assurance teams. Create detailed technical documentation including processes and procedures. Lead and participate in configuration reviews and implementation. Collaborate with the Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, Quality Analysts, and others during the delivery of projects to ensure operational stability, performance and scalability can be maintained and monitored. Accurately resolve IT issues in a timely manner applying in-depth working knowledge of LINUX OS based systems and architectures.

Position requires of a bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, computer systems engineering or related field of study and a minimum of three years of experience in IT systems administration. Job located in Denver, CO and any unanticipated locations throughout the United States. 40 hours per week; $108,992 to $130,520 per year.
