Front Desk Manager Location: US-SC-Hilton Head Island - 29928 Email Job

Front Desk Manager (Hilton Head Island, SC): Coordinate and manage the hotel's front office operations to achieve profitability and efficiency while maintaining hotel’s standards and ensuring guest satisfaction. Maximize room revenue and occupancy rate by reviewing daily occupancy rates and analyzing occupancy rate variances. Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the upper-level management tracking all front office activity and progress. Work with accounting department including accounts receivable staff to ensure proper billing for all accounts and payments. Assist in hiring front desk employees and optimize the regulation of shift coverage in accordance with labor standards, occupancy rates and allocated budget. Maintain an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, schedules, forecasts, reports and tracking logs.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field and 2 years of experience as Front Desk Manager, Front Office Supervisor, Front Desk Agent, or related position. Experience coordinating guest checking in-out and billing processes. Experience anticipating and addressing guest needs and resolving their problems and complaints. Experience following hotel safety procedures. Experience collaborating and communicating with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
