SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for its hospital client in the Gratiot, OH area. This individual would be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services to patients. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy outcomes and ensure patient safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares and dispenses medications for patients while offering comprehensive drug information and education to optimize patient care.
Executes precise medication order entries on the computer system, ensuring the integrity of patients' medication profiles.
Delivers timely and accurate drug and toxicological information to enhance knowledge and mitigate risks of adverse events.
Conducts precise calculations of caloric and/or electrolyte components for TPN, ensuring accurate administration of patients' nutritional therapy.
Conducts ongoing monitoring of patients' drug therapy, identifying and resolving potential medication issues such as interactions, incompatibilities, and allergies to prevent harm.
Utilizes pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic principles to tailor drug dosages to individual patient needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed pharmacist in the state of Ohio required.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmacotherapy principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
