Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Developer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure management, specifically AWS, and expertise in DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS services, DevOps methodologies, and proficiency in Terraform, with a focus on EMR (Elastic MapReduce). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with our esteemed banking client, contributing to the enhancement and optimization of their cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS for the banking client, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient DevOps solutions.
3. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes, incorporating best practices for continuous integration and delivery.
4. Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to provision and manage AWS resources, ensuring consistency and repeatability across environments.
5. Manage and optimize EMR clusters, configuring and tuning them for optimal performance and resource utilization.
6. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability of the infrastructure.
7. Implement security best practices and compliance standards in the cloud environment, including access control, encryption, and monitoring.
8. Stay updated with the latest AWS services, DevOps tools, and industry trends, recommending improvements and optimizations to enhance the infrastructure.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure management and DevOps practices.
3. Strong proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.
4. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, such as CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and configuration management.
5. Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, with a focus on automation and repeatability.
6. Experience with EMR (Elastic MapReduce) for big data processing and analytics in AWS.
7. Familiarity with banking or financial services industry regulations and security requirements is a plus.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed environment.
9. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
