MUST HAVE: experience with IC engines design

As a Powertrain Design Engineer, you'll be a key player in various design programs for our Motorsports division. Your role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from conceptualization to testing and support. You might find yourself on the water, in the lab, collaborating with teams, or working closely with suppliers. Key Responsibilities:

• Design powertrain systems and components using SolidWorks.


• Understand gasoline engine operations and design associated systems like exhaust, cooling, intake, and electrical controls.


• Knowledge of powertrain cooling systems, including pumps and heat exchangers.


• Emphasize design for manufacturability and assembly.


• Generate innovative concept designs.


• Take designs from concept to production.


• Perform predictive analysis using FEA & CFD.


• Collaborate with purchasing and manufacturing teams.


• Participate in DFMEA/DVP&R activities.


• Support product testing, validation, and production launch.

• Drive product validation through various testing methods.


• Continuously improve designs based on test data and warranty analysis.

• Resolve production and product-related issues.


• Lead communications with internal and external suppliers for issue resolution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical.


• Strong mechanical design expertise.
