Job Overview: Contribute to the seamless operation of all electrical facets within production, process enhancements, and health and safety protocols.

Compensation: $35.77 per hour with Journeyman Card.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on various electrical service devices, communication systems, alarm systems, programmable logic controllers, and solid-state control devices.


• Select and specify appropriate materials and equipment for tasks, ensuring safe and efficient execution. Make decisions on material selection, conductor sizing, and electrical devices according to code. Collaborate with contractors and/or engineering to determine objectives for modifying existing systems.


• Interpret and work from blueprints and specifications, read electrical schematics, conduct material take-offs, and coordinate workflow with other crafts. Work under the general supervision of the Plant Manager or Engineering Project Manager, demonstrating a self-directed work ethic.


• Perform basic electrical maintenance and repair on facilities equipment, including air compressors, HVAC systems, lighting, etc.


• Execute electrical work addressing health and safety concerns.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a Journeyman's card in Electrical Industrial Trade or certification from completing a U.S. Department of Labor-recognized apprenticeship as a Journeyman Electrician.


• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
