Responsibilities:

• Master the full spectrum of histotechnician duties, including routine and non-routine specimen preparation, special stains, and IHC testing.


• Leverage your expertise to optimize workflows and implement new technologies.


• Lead and mentor other histotechnicians, students, and lab aides.


• Contribute to quality control and quality assurance, ensuring adherence to all regulations.


• Take initiative, troubleshoot problems, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• ASCP certification in Histotechnology is required.


• 1+ years of experience as a histotechnician, with demonstrable proficiency in complex tasks and special stains.


• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.


• Passion for quality and dedication to continuous learning.


• Experience with gross tissue examination (high complexity testing) is a plus.
