Our client, a large Commercial Construction subcontractor in the flooring industry is actively looking for an Estimator for our their division near South Brunswick, NJ. This is a salaried position that offers competitive pay, amazing benefit package, and a great atmosphere. The role will estimate flooring for non-union jobs.

Objectives:

- Assist in all sales and build customer relations
- Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
- Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of projects including labor
- Assist in the management of the operational capabilities
- Drive performance so that each project is completed under budget and on schedule

• Perform take offs, generate proposals, and secure work.


• Develop and enforce best practices to endure operational efficiency


• Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans

Desired Skills:

- Prior experience with estimating
- Must have flooring experience
- Ability to read, interpret and accurately take-off constructions drawings.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other estimating software

- Must possess excellent communication skills

-College Degree preferred but not required.
